Michael Copley studied music at Cambridge where he formed the Cambridge(later Classic) Buskers whose wittily virtuoso arrangements took them to some of the world’s great concert venues in over thirty countries and included solo performances with amongst others, the San Francisco, Bergen and Vancouver Symphony Orchestras and the Northern Sinfonia and English Chamber Orchestra.

After many years of international touring, Michael is now concentrating on teaching and arranging music in Cambridge.

As a teacher he offers the following:

Flute Everyone from absolute beginners to Diploma students, all ages welcome.
Recorder the same as above and also a special course to convert from the Descant (Soprano) recorder to the Treble (Alto).
Ocarina as one of the world’s principal exponents of this instrument all levels and ages welcome. Instruments can be provided.
Music Theory Michael has great experience of teaching for the Associated Board Grade 5 theory exam with a 100% pass rate.
Arranging An introduction to that essential tool for all arrangers, the Sibelius system.
